As Creative Director and Principal of Empowerment Mineral Designs, Yvette Parker has a keen

understanding of fashion trends and styles that engage shoppers. However, it is Parker's background

in nonprofit management that enabled her to craft a fund-raising event that can engage donors and

increase membership at no cost to your organization.

Parker served as executive director of the the Bethune Museum and Archives (national historic

site) in Washington, DC prior to its transition to the National Park Service.

Formerly, Parker served as director of operations and director of public relations.

Parker served as director of membership development for an

agricultural commodities trade association. Parker served for many years as a

strategic advisor for a variety of businesses and industries and specialized in crisis

management. Parker served as a curatorial advisor to private clients such as Oprah Winfrey,

the Smithsonian Institution and other museums with late partner, Guy McElroy.
